Getting Up From a Chair

In this video, personal trainer Julie Pascoe shows how to properly sit down and get back up from a chair. This is also known as a Squat. This movement is so crucial because you do it so much in daily life, and practicing the Squat is a great way to make your leg muscles stronger.

She does a great job of demonstrating one of the common mistakes people make when squatting, which is allowing their knees to cave in towards each other. She also shows proper positioning of the feet to give you a stable base. Julie recommends 12-20 repetitions of this exercise.
